WHAT: Though psychobilly Danes aren't as common in the rock world as, say, Brooklyn hipsters or Berklee grads, they bring a breath of fresh air to the sometimes samey American tour circuit. Band members Patricia Day and Kim Nekroman met after Day's former band opened for Nekroman's in Denmark; now married, the pair makes music embued with an unmistakably sexy rock 'n' roll chemistry. (Handsome Furs, eat your heart out.) Their unique sound blends beachy riffs with dungeon lore -- and if you don't believe it, you'll just have to see it for yourself. Having opened for The Offspring in the past, they'll join this year's Vans Warped Tour after this gig at the Culture Room. Tickets via Ticketmaster.

WHY: Their shows come complete with go-go dancers, folklore and ghost stories. Not your typical indie show fare.
