[style news] Uggs and Jimmy Choo to collaborate

Designer collaborations are a dime a dozen these days, but the just-announced partnership from Uggs and Jimmy Choo has us scratching our heads. According to WWD, the line is "based on the construction of Ugg's sheepskin boots 'with design details that embody the spirit of the Jimmy Choo brand.'" Huh? Apparently that will mean high-heeled, strappy, sheepskin-lined leather...thingies. The five-piece line will range from $595-795 (!!) and be available in October 2010 at Ugg Australia and Jimmy Choo boutiques. We're dying to see if these shoes will be as Ugg-ly as they sound.
